Match Ipswich (A) - 22nd February - 3PM KICK OFF, AN ACTUAL 3PM KICK OFF

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

With City a few days later and players back, I'd look to resting Porro, Son and Kulusevski here. All 3 have played way too many games recently snd its negativity affected their form. Udogie, Brennan and Odobert should be all ready to start after a week break. I'd give Gray the nod over Davies as we will need Davies for City game.

I’d maybe start Porro and Kulu and bench them at half time. We still need to build chemistry and momentum with the returning players

when I was a regular away supporter used to love this & the norwich matches (other than the walk back to the station after the Norwick match always just missed the train back to Liverpool st had to wait 50 mins for next one)

Odobert with 15 mins today and Johnson with 25 mins today give us options we haven't had for a few months.

I'd guess Ange might restrict Odobert to 45 mims and Johnson to 60 mins, but given we've flogged Kulusevski all season, and Son is not of form atm I'd start both against Ipswich as LW and RW to rest the other two players. Moore's best position is LW so he might be the 2nd half sub.

We face ManCity 4 days after Ipswich so we might as well practice rotating our squad rather than using the same X1 every match.
At the very least, the forwards can now press hard for 60 mins and Ange has bench options to come on and keep up the intensity.

Perhaps Spence to start on the right this week, with Udogie back on the left. Gray might replace Davies for this game, just try to keep everyone fresh at the back.

Must win or free hit?

Doom Funk Doom Funk you pick.

Need to win, so that a bit of momentum is able to be built.

We will or should be much more relaxed after yesterday, and so it's up to us to make our superior quality count.

We also have options all of a sudden.

Be disciplined, not over-confident, and we have no excuses in not coming away with 3 points.

Then we face a City side who will be tired, after 2 very tough games.

A question for the hive mind. IIJM or have we still not found a reliable No 6? Archie Gray?
In the summer w all the talk of Gallagher, I didn’t get it. We have Biss and Bentancur. Now I think upgrading that position is a major need. Those two have each shown flashes, but both way too inconsistent. I’d love to see Gray get a chance, but his time has all been as emergency cover for CB. I’m not sure he is even allowed to get any run there in our very limited practices.

The other must is acknowledging that Sonny is no longer golden boot Sonny or even close. Can no longer create his own opportunities. Still has a great shot, but we rarely see it. Hoping Odebert gets more time going forward regardless of the captaincy.
