Are Referee's Reffing Us Out of The Premier League?

I don't know what they can be complaining about. Nearly all their set piece goals this season could easily have been disallowed if VAR wanted to get involved. The opposition goalkeeper gets a push every time and they are purposely obstructing defenders and pushing them out of the way. They are very lucky that a lot of their goals stand. We had a Romero goal against West Ham ruled out for far less than majority of their set piece goals

Youre just proving my point - you don't watch every Woolwich game or view it through the lens of an Woolwich fan, you view it through the lens of a Spurs fan and only see the injustices against us -

completely normal - but also not objective in the slightest.

Subconsciously, these bloody refs would love to reminisce,"I reffed Spurs in the season they went down.", so each one of them is playing his part in the dirty game - subconsciously.
You only have to listen to ex-referees pontificating (and usually getting it wrong) to realise they're all as thick as pig shit and allow their emotions to dominate, leading to little or no grasp of reality or common sense.

Sound a bit paranoid mate.

Premier league is one of the most corrupt leagues in Europe. One day it will come out, VAR has made it easier to fix things to their liking

For us we just have score clean so they can't be any "interpretation of the rule"

It's never been more blatent than this season.

The media and their mates in the PGMOL are giving the league to Woolwich this year, just because they feel it's their turn. You'll see it in the Carling Cup final against City. The refs and VAR will let Woolwich do whatever they like and they will get all the decisions to help them win the game. Same in the league. The reality is, Woolwich are not that great, and without the PGMOL's help, they wouldn't be top.

Our club now needs to seriously threaten the PGMOL with consequences if they continue to apply different rules to our players. And if that means getting lawyers involved, so be it. The alternatives are that serious.

They finished top of the CL table unbeaten btw, I assume all the European officials are corrupt too, except for when they ref Spurs because we do well there.

Biblical levels of nonsense being chatted in here. Go and threaten the PGMOL with our lawyers? With what evidence, the ramblings of people on TFC where every 50/50 not in our favour is treated like a corruption scandal?

Some of you need to seriously touch grass.

We can't be getting done up like a kipper as obviously and frequently as we are "subconsciously"
4 goal swing here
Romero disallowed vs WH
Ekitike allowed
RKM disallowed Vs Arse
Wilson allowed
They're all the same goal. A minor push. No one was more physical than the last one.
The Romero one Vs WHU was worse as it was actually 2 WHU players pushing VdV into KWP.

Only one of those wasn't a potential game changer.
We also, IIRC, should have had a penalty in that game Vs WH. So they tried their best to stop us winning that game.

I don't normally like your posts.

But fair do's

Especially the last bit.
I would absolutely love Spurs to uncover something untoward and prove the suspicious among us right.
It's too frequent to be bad luck.

Alright, consciously then. The cunts.

Ok, so we're making a noise finally.

Will get interesting to see how this is interpreted now going forward.

Either there IS or ISN'T an agenda.... We'll find out soon enough, starting Thursday.

I'm not saying we deserve anything UNFAIR to go in our favour, especially if it's the wrong decision... As that will prove beyond doubt they're trying to even things up cos they know they've been caught reffing against us with bias.

All we want is consistency.
If it's a fair goal, give it...
If it's a push it's a push, and a disallowed goal... WHOEVER it's for.
That I can live with.

.but not when it's a goal against us it counts, and when it's for us it's disallowed. That's just plain wrong!

I'm not saying we deserve anything FAVOURABLE to go in our favour, especially if it's the wrong decision... As that will prove beyond doubt they're trying to even things up cos they know they've been caught reffing unfairly..

Finally we've grown some balls and stood up for ourselves.
Now lets give the ref something to think about. He'll know he has a lot of attention now.

I did notice against Fulham that the players complained more than usual. So something within the club has clicked.

I have maintained this position all along - I'm as fed up with the small bias decisions as the big ones.
We are not allowed to play football.
Refs whistle for every contact.

Man City and Rodri seem to have benefitted from calling out the PGMOL.

Watch us get the other end of the stick and penalised at every moment.

No they haven't they are just talking about pushes in the penalty area.

They should have included Michael Oliver being allowed to referee and send off one of our players the game before we play the team he supports.

The fact that both Romero and Xavi got sent off this season when numerous worse contact have not been punished.

The only time I know of where the ref has not changed the call when sent over to the monitor:
  • Brighton goal: Scored by Tariq Lamptey
  • Issue: Possible foul by Solly March on Pierre‑Emile Højbjerg in the build‑up
  • VAR sent referee Graham Scott to the pitch‑side monitor
  • After reviewing the footage, Scott stuck with his original on‑field decision
  • Goal was allowed to stand
It is not one season of bias there is literally maybe two or three games in the last 6 or 7 years where I think it has been the other way round and when it is the Pundits and POGMOL always make a point of it.

As far as I'm aware, it's not just about the pushes this season. But it likely is just this season.
I'd bet my arse we have included other incidents

Totally agree with this. Its been going on for years.

Most of Romeros red cards should never have been given. Players in other teams get away with the same challenges every weekend.

Gary Neville is a big part of that problem. He is obsessed with Romero and is 💯 percent trying to ruin his career. He cant stand it that he captained our club to a trophy at Man U's xpense and this is his revenge.

The club leadership need to be much more forcefful and vocal when these things happen. The PGMOL needs to understand that we will hold them to account if they apply different rules to our players.

You don't really think anyone is going to tell the truth do you? CYA for all involved...

Hopefully it just puts the eyes of everyone on our next few games.
This tactic is fairly normal. Nobody at the PGMOL is going to admit they employ crooked, bias and inept refs.
But they will tell them to sort themselves out before everyone really notices.

The refs are just scum. All of them. I was cautiously in favour of VAR - but nobody said it was going to be helmed by the same corrupt vegetables it was brought in to help
