For penalties not given per touch in the box.

I'm SURE Hearts will be feeling like Spurs fans this morning....Anyone see the penalty that title chasing Celtic got given by VAR last night?

And fouls per card.
Funny thing is, I've heard POLAR OPPOSITE theories from different fans as to why there who the 13+ minutes added on was 'designed' to help the other night....And fouls per card.
And fouls/cards given by certain refs to/against teams.
And I'm sure more to come.
People are now doing their homework, and they will dig more out.
At least 10 of the 13 minutes were desperate attempts to give Leeds penalties. VAR earned their bonus' for that effort.Funny thing is, I've heard POLAR OPPOSITE theories from different fans as to why there who the 13+ minutes added on was 'designed' to help the other night....
West Ham fans seem to think it was the PL/PGMOL helping Spurs by adding on as much time as possible, but realistically it allowed LEEDS 2 glorious chances to WIN IT...and when Maddison finally DID do something that benefitted US... the ref/VAR simply ignored and dismissed it!
We DID take advantage of the added time, but weren't allowed to benefit from the obvious penalty.
Can someone answer a question .
How many actual PL referees are there ? and also how many refs are used in the VAR room ? as in is there a team 5/10/15 etc that are used throughout a season .
That's interesting , I would have thought that it was qualified referees in the VAR room , maybe not PL quality but a complete understanding of the rules .This is a good point. No way they should be allowing the refs to be in the VAR room. If you are going to use VAR it should be a group independent staff that don't actually ref other PL games throughout the season. PL ref's should not be allowed in the rooms at all.
That's interesting , I would have thought that it was qualified referees in the VAR room , maybe not PL quality but a complete understanding of the rules .
I find the huge variations in interpretation of rules amazing . Maybe it's more the about how convoluted the rule book has become .
Whatever it is it's a fecking shambles and has completely ruined a great sport .

Why Sadiq Khan says Londoners should hope West Ham stay up over Spurs
London Mayor blames predecessor Boris Johnson for doing ‘worst deal imaginable’ that means if West Ham go down City Hall will be hit with huge billwww.standard.co.uk
Mayor of London publically stating it would be bad for the public if West Ham got relegated.
The problem is, those who rate the accuracy of cards, fouls etc, are the refs themselves. It would be naive top think our sport is unblemished. Top tier football is not a paragon of virtue, but it's how it's corrupt. For example, I don't think there is an agenda to send Spurs down. Nobody made the club so utterly inept at replacing Son and Kane. Nobody made us have so many injuries.Nobody made Richarlison slower than Joe fucking Rodon.
I'd be curious to know how badly we have been impacted by incorrect decisions though; that's cards, fouls that aren't, fouls that should have been....right into the minutia of it all but that way can only lead to madness.
The Italian scandal proves that nobody is immune though.
This is also a good point. They've come out and said time and again they protect each other. Didn't give a decision to stop their pal getting pelters. That is the definition of corruption. It's needs to be an independent third party involved and on the monitor who doesn't care about their mates. The problem is, those who rate the accuracy of cards, fouls etc, are the refs themselves.
So what.
A regular thing that.BBC didn't show the Andre studs up red card tackle on Bissouma at all on MOTD the other week.
Not even in the highlights. Just chose to ignore it ever happened

We are discussing refereeing descions, not whether we won the game or not.
