With strong midfielders around him and left to just create, behind the front man then offers value.

Our key man imo. If he purs we'll pur. But he has to do the hard work off the ball and earn the right in a difficult environment.

He's an intelligent guy, speaks well and has an abundance of awareness.

I fo think it's also important to acknowledge that us going through isn't solely on Maddison's shoulders.

Yes, we need him to show up but it's for the likes of the defenders to do their job, and for Solanke to remember that as a striker, it's okay to score goals.

Integral yes, but lets nor view defeat as a result of Maddison not doing enough,or supposedly stepping up to the plate, but he needs to try and set a tone.

Not really big holbox their, great pass, as a forward you are expecting the goalie to come out and challenge for the ball, so you're attempting to head tye ball over or around them, you are not expecting the goalie to try and jump through you, in that respect Madders got lucky, I've to many neck injuries from stupid challenges like that.

Took one for the team tonight one of those ones where you know you're getting hit hard just got to make sure you get there first. Shame as he was really starting to get into the game at that point.
