We really need a proper top class ten who can do it against everyone not just Ipswich. I'm talking Wirtz level anyone got ideas.
Wirtz haha we are Tottenham ffs, a lesser team than where he’s currently playing. If we get a player 60% as good as him it improves us greatly
Agree. Not having a proper striker didn't help him. Either way he's our only genuine play maker who can play the passes we need. He'll be better with better more settled front three to play with imo
Other players have to be looking for him , he often goes into a space to get the ball but the ball ends up getting pushed back , players need to be playing with courage and eyes up .

Getting a distaste for Maddison. Whines too much and a bit of a flopper. Just get the fuck on with it.
I was there and i noticed there was a moment in the second half where Bergvall was engaged in a convo with Ange (assume getting instructions). Bergvall then went straight to Maddison to relay the message and Maddison through his arms up and seemed annoyed.

Those are the games when you need Maddison and he does nothing.
Late in tonight's game they cut to Maddison and Son on the bench and it looked like Maddison said "Every game, same play."
He hasn't been consistently great himself but a player like him must feel stifled by this system.

He’s a lightweight. Talented but still lightweight.
I have a problem with him being in any leadership group, he’s no leader that’s for sure.
To be fair to him, he seems to be trying to organise as he is playing which is bloody difficult.
