The lack of intelligent movement, ball retaining ability which leads to a total inability to interact in the crafting of chances of Son, Tel, Oddobert, Johnson and to an extent Solanke (who has an XA of about 0.1) is fucking abysmal.

Maddison is not a stellar, top level, creative, but he really is working with fuck all out there at times. At least has the ability to retain the ball, dribble and pass with some vision and composure.
 
When the new manager comes, I'm sure we will see a better Madders, same to Son. The one and only system Ange wants them to play, which is to the cross or cut back from the flanks, restricted them so much. I'll be sicked way earlier I were them.

Didn't do a lot of that yesterday.

Did he create a single chance? He wasn't helped by Sonny having one of his "off" days I give you that.

Thats what happens when the manager tells the world he couldnt care less about set pieces and that he has full faith in Jedinak and Mason sharing responsibilities (attacking and defensive) . The inmates start to run the asylum.

Never forget when Porro was on corners vs Wolves and he got an assist and a near assist from set piece deliveries. The next fucking week we randomly decided Werner (who couldnt get the ball past the first man) and Reguillon (who never fucking plays) would share duties looooooool.

The whole set up is amateur hour.
