I don't listen to the cultist so I don't know what they are saying. Even one or two of the flip floppers I've blocked. But it would take willful ignorance to not see the flaws. It's been so obvious for over a year that the coaching is incredibly poor..the signs are everywhere. The lack of cohesion in various aspects of the game shows how little real intelligent dedicated work is being done on the training ground.

We do have a coach focused on set pieces though. At different points of the season we have noticed improvements.
Tbh this one was on Son and Maddison. They argued over who was taking it then it looked to me like Son fucked the touch back because he was still sulking Maddison was taking it.

Madders and Son cleverly worked out a good chance for Sarr. Our penalty also came through Madders who passed Son.

Honestly, my gut told me to be relieved when he came on at HT (after all, ANYTHING was better than the shitshow from Biss & Johnson 1st half)
...and to a point, he did change the game, along with Bergwall & Son.

The only thing that blotted it for me, was when Madders got in a right tangle on the edge of their box... They broke, almost scored (again) and yet Madders started berrating all those around him, when it was clearly HIS mistake.
Classic blame tendancies there, but had he just accepted it was HIS fault, and simply owned it, he fucked up momentarily. It happens, it happened to Romero after 13 seconds, but he held his hands up, and didn't point the finger at others.
THAT'S where - if anywhere - Madison lets himself down occasionally.
