hahaha
not much to say you know how most "football fights" go
one with the team- mate was about cleaning the changing room , where he tried to let me do it myself which i kinda then forced/or help him understand he had to the rest of by himself and he then one night when we watch the champions league final in the club-house he kinda was drunk and ask me to fight him which i calmly accepted till my kool team-mate just started laughing which made me laugh and i went back to my food ( real tough fighting Story :roflmao:)
and the second was because i had to do lines-man duty ( as for this match i was the back-up gk and in switzerland each team has to have one lines-man on each side) and i kinda made a mistake and put my flag up too early before the ball was out so the whole bench all ran up to me shoving and pushing me and i just laugh at them nothing more happened

thats the full war story

When Madders is good, he's very, very good. When he's not on it, he's anonymous. He's also made of glass. His perceived importance to the team has grown exponentially the longer he has been out of it.

He's gonna appear at some point in this run in.

Agree with rusx though overall, name who he's costing us on the bench at this point lol
Probably no bad thing in getting him used to match day routine, the crowd, warm up etc ahead of a return to play in say two weeks. A few games being involved in the match day squad might make that return a little easier and less emotional

Sounds about right: a couple appearances off the bench towards the end of the season and if those go well maaaaybe a start against Everton if survival is on the line?

Need to make sure we're being sensible with him and not taking too big a risk, though. Last thing we need is yet key player with a long term injury.
We'll be down by then. That Everton gane should be the hottest ticket in town. The board should be advised to stay away but we'll probably give them a polite clap for their efforts.

We need to push him, if he feels ready to play a part and the medics (lol) think he can handle it, then get him out there.

It’s a risk worth taking at this point, provided the player feels comfortable.

Funny how people moan a lot about the medical team but you hit the nail on the head right there.
They are being pushed to get people on the pitch. That’s football.

He’s going to want to play. Players always do.

The reality is he’s going to be miles off the pace and ring rusty. That’s just normal after being out for so long.

Similar to what Pep said about bringing back Rodri too soon, the player felt he was ready. He wasn’t. And they paid the price for that this season.

Saying that I imagine any time on the pitch Maddison gets are going to be last throw of the dice type minutes.
Maybe by the Everton game still better part of a month away he’s built up more match fitness and they have seen how he’s reacted to premier league intensity .

Maddison HAS to play a part on Sunday (even a bit part) and again against Leeds...
We've been Cock(rel) teased enough...
Surely the cheerleader role can only go on so long....

He MUST be able to offer SOMETHING on the pitch.... anything!
