Sometimes with players you see them say things like this and it’s all guff but not with him. I think he really means that. I suspect he’s been integral in keeping morale up behind the scenes since coming back.
Seems like it’s our medical department fucking up again which led to the injury in the first place let’s not forget so he has an axe to grind, but not with us.
He's gone up in my estimation. At times near the end under Ange I felt he started to hide a tiny bit. But he has been desperate to get us over the line in the run in. His passionate interviews and his immersion of the club has been wonderful to see.
