Modric took deep into his second season to show his real quality, Neymar took into his second Barca season to show his real quality and not step on other's toes, etc etc. It takes times Sammy and only a moron wouldn't understand it and the difference between fitting in (bedding in) and standing out (real quality). Keane was brilliant box to box midfielder in forest , early Utd days. I mean Paul Ince was a very decent DM and Keane was head and shoulders above him .... to just try and offer some context

I know football is a game of mixed opinions but I can’t believe I crossed someone who thinks Fernandinho is a better player than Keane... let alone twice the player

He's 18/19 years of age this season mate. I could reel off a dozen names of players at that age that still needed time to grow. At worst we'll make our money back more than likely so yes it's a good deal based on the risk of players when signing them.

Last season when he was firing he looked like a really exciting prospect I dont blame the club at all for taking a punt on a young English player that might come good.

Oh Sammy. I will judge every player progressively, taking new data and adding them to the previous data like anyone with a brain does. I will not wait until 2021 to judge the player as I have never done anything that stupid previously.

For me he's shown encouraging things and I'm interested to see what he's got. But I won't wait until 2021 to determine that. Just like I didn't wait that long to determine that some others that are still here or recently left weren't up to the task. I think I can tell pretty quickly what a player has or if they are worth the time investment.
