So many questions with that. Will Dier regain his form and can he do what he used to do, drop in and out of CM/CB positions. If that’s the case it might not be that bad.
But at the moment I wouldn’t be happy with that because I feel we need a DM in between winks and Ndombele.
I agree yes a new CB is very important, but I think a new DM is equally as important perhaps more. I don’t think Sanchez/Dier are world class like prime Toby and Jan were but I think they could get to a decent level if they have the right protection in front of them.
And perhaps that would give Sanchez some time to grow in to the player we hope he becomes along with Foyth ofcourse.
I just think a new top class DM solves a lot of our problems, and we won’t concede as many opportunities for our back line to deal with.
Not that I believe that United are actually interested in signing Eric Dier.
Written off Lo Celso and Sessengon already then1 quality signing in january would be a massive lift for us all. Get on it levy.
You think it is likely that United are wanna sign Dier then? And so the Trippier saga starts to repeat itself.......our fans never learn
Maybe and there are countless options who have actually played full matches in 2019, but I think it's just another load of horse shit from tabloid the metro we will never hear of again. Why do you think they have some kind of world class central midfield?
Dier fit and in form would walk into that team.
Maybe but I heard it was nonsense that Napolj and Atlético wanted Trippier too.Maybe and there are countless options who have actually played football in 2019, but I think it's just another load of horse shit from tabloid the metro we will never hear of again.
I heard other things, but I don't take the Dier to United rumour in the metro serious at all.Maybe but I heard it was nonsense that Napolj and Atlético wanted Trippier too.

I think there are much better options who have actually played full football matches this calender year.. One article in a crappy tabloid like the daily star or metro doesn't change that for me, but feel free to take it seriously.
I know, that was in the summer of 2017(!) after a season in which he had started 40+ matches for Spurs. They wanted to a few years ago under Mourinho (read Poch's book) and according to reports he wanted to go. He was a big Utd fan growing up

I think they will go for other options than a player who has started 5 matches in the first 9 months of 2019, but we will see. It was just one sentence in tabloid the Metro, there is no reason to talk about Dier to United until there is some concrete news. That player still exists, the problem is at Spurs he has lost his way for whatever reasons. For someone prepared to take a chance he is a good player to purchase. As has been said Utds centre midfield is not strong and a fit fully motivated Dier would walk into that side
Some kind of decision needs to be made with Dier and quickly. He has a contract till 2021 so next summer he will have one year left on his deal and we can see all the hassle this causes, so either he is offered a contract extension and a decent pay rise now or in January we look to cash in
