Don't need another AM, even if we sell Eriksen. We have enough.

Address DM and defence first.

If it's £15m though surely in today's market it's a deal well worth being had. Worst case situation is it doesn't work out and we make our money back and then some due to his age and HG status. We've missed out on good young HG players before, Maddison, Brooks, Grealish I definitely think this kind of deal is one worth going after. The only issue is if it impacts our goings on in other desired areas as you've mentioned.

Incredible how some have fallen. Being completely pleased with a £10m signing from the depths of Championship, fuck me.

So far who's the best value moment signing made over the past 4-5 years? Sonny comes close but Dele for me, a whole league lower than the same league you're happy to mock.

What many would give for someone like Maddison in our ranks at the moment, I'll give you a guess what League Leicester got him from.

Isaac Lihadji - 17
Victor Osimhen - 20
Eberechi Eze - 21

Exactly the kind of player I love seeing us linked with. Our unique selling point is we are a big club, in the PL that will give players u23 game time and the opportunity to become a genuine star. Got to focus on this kind of player rather than the ones where we get into a bit of a bum fight with money bag clubs.

I've mentioned this kid a few times in different places on here, but Eduardo Camavinga (17yo Rennes) is a player that might be worth taking a punt on. Showing incredible qualities for a 17yo. Tenacious, pretty industrious, good technique.

I hear Allan has fallen has fallen foul of De Laurentiis at Napoli. I know 28yo's aren't usually on our radar and I wouldn't normally advocate buying them, but possibly the (or at least one of) most complete CM/DM in Europe over the last few years. Would not say no to this one.

He'd be perfect for 3-4 years. I'm all for younger signings but every now and then if the right one comes along you simply can't ignore it. If that's true I'm certain Jose will be looking at the situation very carefully. Still a little bit miffed as to why we didn't go for Diawara though.

Another transfer window. Another link between us a Layvin Kurzawa. Nice to see the tradition being kept up.

This time around there are also rumors that his agent is in London to meet with us, Spam and Man U.

Foot Mercato is the source this time around.

You would have taken Robertson, Maguire and Brooks, wouldn't you? You can definitely find quality players in the Championship and this does not mean that we're not looking elsewhere. Just last summer we signed Ndombele (and soon Lo Celso) for record fees. Stop moaning so much ffs
We need players that are going to start games right away once they immediately join the club. Those champo lads we're being linked with are not exactly going to walk into the first team unless you're happy watching the likes of Dier, Winks and Sissoko in midfield for the remainder of the season.

Sorry to be pernickity, but are we that anymore?

Foyth, Skipp, Whiteman, Tanganga all could have played or played much more.

How many U23s are regular first team starters?
