By my calculations the 48 hours in which we were promised a shiny new signing elapse round about KO time this afternoon.

Unlike other naysayers I am confident that at least one oven-ready Player Who Will Make a Difference will be presented to the WHL faithful before the match.

In Levy We Trust and so on and so forth

I probably agree.

I certainly do not see any longevity to the Levy/Mourinho axis if we fail to sign at least 2 players of repute.

Bruno Fernandes was an open goal that we completely missed. Wanted to come to Spurs in the summer but the greedy weasel preferred to have only one CAM come in whilst keeping an unhappy one in the squad.

I wasn't being serious, I don't really expect us to do any SWOOPING this month unfortunately.

Oh...... but I don't think we have a choice.

We are being battered at present and are really struggling in my opinion.

The team have no personality and no fear factor.

I am not saying new players in January will be the complete panacea (we need an overhaul) but I think without any of some objective quality that we could be in for a very difficult 4 months.

This squad in its current state is finishing in the bottom half

No doubt about that at all in my mind

Yep I am with you. We are in a dangerous place and Mourinho will know that.

Sissoko for his drive and power is one thing. Lloris is not such a great loss for me. Centre backs do not inspire confidence. Eriksen (off) and Alli are not giving us enough and Son and Moura are just about keeping us above the waterline.

And now without Kane.....

Got to have reinforcements.

BREAKING ITK !!!

Daniel Levy is in negotiations with Tesco over a Meal Deal for his lunch

It is understood that he is reluctant to pay the 3 pound asking price and is trying to strike up a loan deal

It is thought that the initial offer included Wanyama being offered in exchange to go and work at Tesco but that offer was swiftly rejected

I'm pretty much here right now, at the mouth of the River of Confusion, staring downstream at the town of Stupidity and the City of Destruction...
John Bunyan must have been a Spurs fan
