“Rumour” has it Inter have offered 8.5m for Eriksen, the same “rumour” says we want 17m or no deal....
Ok, so is Eriksen worth more than 8.5m? Of course he is, but come the summer he walks for free, in fact we will have paid him around 2 million or so by that time on wages alone.

Chris has been professional and respectful throughout.
He hasn't demanded a pay rise in line with our other top players.
He hasn't gone on strike or not turned up to training.
He has praised the club and respectfully commented that he wants a new challenge.
He has played whenever needed and dispite what armchair pundits think, he has put in good performances.

One of the best midfielders in Europe available, at a prime age and at a cut down price. Rest assured there are many clubs chatting to Levy on this move.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if he signs a new contract with us.

This is only my own thoughts and speculation.
The reason for only loan signings and only giving Mourinho a short term (ish) contract is because ENIC are looking to sell.
The club are in its most financially sound position it’s ever been in, the new stadium is built, the naming right are rumoured to be almost agreed for over £400m and we have our best players tied down to long contracts. It just makes sense that ENIC aren’t committing to new signings as they don’t want to pay the big bucks if they are moving on.
I might be wrong, but it just seems to add up.

I actually like Mitro, especially the version at Newcastle when he was a psychopath I think he’s softened his game, some might say it was necessary to remain on the pitch but I thought he was always more dangerous when steam was blowing out of his nose.
In any event I would far rather we tried to look for a brand of football that is played by every Ellite club Currently than those in the Championship or at the foot of the current table. Can’t think of any club playing with a big number 9 as a target man competing for the league or CL, can you?

From other PL clubs apparently. Loaning in from outside of England is apparently only limited by the homegrown quota.
But surely we are making Gio permanent. He's won over Mourinho by the looks of it.
Seems to be in a streak of form, but over his career this Ze Luis has very mediocre goalscoring stats for a striker.
