A DM won't just solidify the back of will help us going forward, too. I don't understand the lack of movement in this area unless there are no good options in January.
 
Jesus Christ it’s fucking sad. We used to go to teams like Watford and be 4-0 up at half time. What’s happened?

I put it down to Dembele leaving. We used to dominate a midfield, meaning the defenders just defended and the attacks could attack. Now we have no balance which is losing us the game.

We have a shed-load of #8s(*) with all varying skillsets; we desperately need a boss DM to unlock them to do whatever it is they are tasked with doing.... Of course a prime Dembele may prove un upgrade upon all of them, but if we're still chasing the ideal replacement in the trf window then we're barking up the wrong tree.

He gets paid well but he also leaves us looking like one of the healthiest clubs in world football so I guess it's all about ones perspective on the matter.

Only if he quits over not getting the bonus. I think he would have carried on doing his usual work output without the bonus. But fair enough if some believe he would quit or deliberately not work as hard.
 
Today proves more than ever we need a striker. Not just one is cover for Kane, a proper striker who is capable of starting ahead of Kane when needed and is reliable.

Now under Poch we’d have just winged it, but Mourinho won’t be like that. I think we could have signed one by now but JM wants a particular one. I think we will sign one, but we need one soon.

But you could equally say you are moaning & stamping your feet because some strangers online don't agree with you. So you're basically choosing what's acceptable to moan about. & you didn't have to engage with me, you chose to. You could have just put me on ignore or ignored me. So you are choosing to moan about my opinion.
& your blaming levy for everything point. Equally there are lots who excuse him for just about everything. Like he can do no wrong. Can't possibly be levy's fault. They change their whole stance to match what levy decides to do.

We used to destroy teams because we had an average age of 23 and no outfield players older than 27
Now we have a squad full of 27+ year olds and we look beaten.

I hope anyone that advocated the summer 18 and winter 19 windows has learned you cannot stand still.
