Club Brügge are the biggest team in Belgium and regularly win their domestic titles and are CL regulars. It's also a country he played in previously and spoke warmly of.

IMO pretty even stevens regarding Brügge and Celtic. I'd argue that his knees would probably hold up to the Belgian style better than the Scottish one.
The best team right now but not the biggest club.

That's obviously Anderlecht.

Some interesting quotes from José taken from the BBC:

"We are in a situation when I have to think, think, think. I look to bench and we don't have attacking players. I had to take off Erik Lamela because of fatigue but we showed an incredible reaction to score a second goal.

"When Chelsea want to win they bring on Michy Batshuayi. When Manchester City want to change Gabriel Jesus they bring in Sergio Aguero.

"We are so, so unlucky with injuries. We get back Hugo Lloris and we lose Harry Winks. It's incredible."

"Everyone at the club wants to give the best conditions to the team but we think every day and communicate every day. We have to be calm."

Not so sure it's a dig at Levy, as much as it's just pointing out the obvious in that we don't have the luxury of those types of players waiting on the bench - still, I'd like to think we're going to try and bring in a striker before the window closes.

Not so sure it's a dig at Levy alone, as much as it's just pointing out the obvious in that we don't have the luxury of those types of players waiting on the bench - still, I'd like to think we're going to try and bring in a striker before the window closes.
Not sure if it is a dig at Levy so much as at the state the squad was allowed to end up in towards the end of Pochettino's reign.

As someone else said in another thread. All other managers under ENIC have had at least a second first 11 to use. Poch was the one to change that because he did not really believe in rotating. That has over time led to our bench being much weaker than it should be. This combined with us being unable to shift all the deadwood really does leave us with few options when we are in an injury crisis.

It's a clear indication that this squad needs a striker, but I think it's a bit gratuitous to see in the realm of "Mourinho vs Levy".

We are all on the same team here. I'm 100% convinced Levy is doing everything he can to make a deal happen for a new player, and Jose appreciates that, but likes to stress the urgency of the matter.

I've heard him say in an interview that he and Levy have a meeting every day at 7.30am, so they work closely together to help the team.

Glad you're 100% certain, because I'm certainly not.
