I agree that the addition of squad depth they might well have been a degree more cautious in some deals. But only to a degree.
Tottenham have not gone and got what we neee for key positions. That’s what causes head scratching from a lot of us.
And it appears we have haggled far too many (and obvious) times, cocked up last minute deals, changed prices last minute and even been such cunts as to destroy young players careers over our “refusal” to pay due to last minute adjustments ...but keep in mind in our case Levy low balls and tarnishes each window with the shadow of failure in recent years.
