We need a striker, there is no bloody excuse. We have had a whole month to rectify this issue. I’m not having it that there’s no striker worthy, load of bullshit. This Bergwijn is a very exciting signing, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of a proper striker. We have ran Harry completely into the ground. We need a proper number 9 to not only be back up to him, but to take the pressure off him when he does play. Time to stop fucking around Levy. Get a fucking striker in and give Mourinho the tools to salvage something from this season.

But back to the main point we seem to sign players like this window where most seem to think yeah not bad signings, worth a punt, or should give us more options . That’s the change in strategy that propelled pool to titles

i don’t mind the odd cheap n’(addname) punt but I hate when we seem to have no end of 25-30 mil squad player targets . All seems a bit arbitrary and I quite often can’t see where the replacement is nothing more than a replacement without it offering a marked improvement.

Im in this camp. None of these strikers mentioned get the blood pumping. They might be alright but then they be Jansen 2.0

id prefer to go with Son and use these months to identify firm targets for calculated reasoning

and maybe Parrott might get some minutes and prove to be a star

Son is a better striker than the 2 we are linked with imo

Everyone forgets Robertson and Trent Alexander Arnold, who have both turned into (arguably) the best full backs in Europe. Bought for peanuts.

They spotted young talent *and* compounded it with experience. We should have done that in 2016/17.

I didn’t say you had to go out and break the bank necessarily.... just identify your targets and get them
