how are we throwing in the towel on the season? We made a very tough decision to fire a beloved manager when it was obvious he had lost the team and when the team was going nowhere with him in charge. We spend gobs of money to secure the winningest manager in the world. And we’ve spent a fairly large amount of money on players that make us better. We are in a race to finish 4th against teams that have not spent nearly the amount on new players that we have. Have we filled every single need? No. But weare certainly better now than we were in June.

It's amazing really. At the start of the window say we have targets, one or two sign and people say wow they were right, say there are others in pressing areas, get people to stump up and as the window draws to a close say ahh the info we got shows it must have just not worked out. Squeeze a grand out of it, the punters are content and bang, money out of nothing. Magic
