People are quick to judge, but have you watched any Millwall game? They are one of the worst teams to watch, Parrott barely received the ball in the attack, had do drop deep to do something. In one game he ended playing as CM and played out of position in some others. Despite that he was one of the best players for them, creating some chances by himself and setting up others. The best thing to do is send him to a team that acatually play some sort of footbal and has a tactical plan. He will come good.

I do like the Mwepu links though.

Liked what I saw of him against both Bayern and Atletico in the CL this season.

Yeah, mentioned him when a poster asked about RBS.

He is a grafter. Engine for days. Was also linked to Liverpool and I can see why. Would be a natural replacement for milner and wijnaldum (sp).

He would probably allow Jose to have more confidence in the midfield as he is more of a footballer than Sissoko but will still man mark if asked.

I'm no scout and don't know who it should be - but I would put every effort possible into recruiting our equivalent of a VVD/Kompany/Terry/Vidic/Ferdinand

Someone who is reliable, intelligent (at football) and not prone to injury all the time.
Only when we have a rock at the back can we release the midfield from their defensive duties.

I also would like us to search for a defensive leader. I would rather have a seasoned leader than a promising young defender at this moment

As we should.

Hopefully to a club better suited.
Can we though? I remember there is a rule that a player can't be registered for 3 clubs in same season, or something along the line.

Kompany and Vidic were quite injury prone throughout their PL years as I recalled.

Terry and Ferdinand were also at the end of there career.

for me its a creative midfielder we need, someone like Eriksen,
I know what you're saying. But to be nitpicking it's not Eriksen profile. More like Deco, Sneijder profile AKA a better and fitter Lamela.

A creative force that is comfortable in both central and wide area, and a strong defensive intensity when out of possession.

Don't know who fit this profile though.

We have to wait since have other more urgent need in other positions, like CB and holding central midfielder. Even though we don't have the exact ideal player of this profile, we have so many players occupying same area on the pitch. Without the sale, we don't have squad space to fit everyone in.
