For me, its no judgement until 1st February.

From a business perspective it would make sense to underplay the level of finance available.

But if this is yet another underwhelming window that doesn't match the ambition of other aspects of the Tottenham Hotspur 'brand', then i really hope the fans give it everything from the stands to voice their disgust.

Conte has already shown himself to be more than capable. He has upheld his end of the bargain.

Match Conte's managerial ability with investment, or else.

For RWB position yes, for attack position no. Lamptey would be great but I would imagine we would be looking at £50m.

I’d rather we throw Wolves £60-70m and ask for Neves and Traore, get an attacker as well and it’s a good window.

Even if the signings had been successful we failed to improve a badly lacking midfield and failed to replace a back up CF as well as Bale’s goals in the team.

We finished 7th. It should’ve been a huge window where we tried to show a willingness to get back on track.

Seen good things from Romero but also loads to work on, from a nearly 50m centre back you’d expect quality .. that’s the bare fucking minimum.

But yeah as you say, when the other signings are the likes of Gil and Emerson, people have to clutch at something I suppose..
