Kessie.......

Spot on.

But even if we get Adama as a RWB, I still think we need to buy a creative midfielder to create chances through the middle, in case teams just put 10 men behind the ball.
I agree we need CM upgrades generally but no real links and who is a viable target for Jan?

Maybe this problem is lessened if we start to play 352 more often when trying to break teams down. Maybe Gio finally steps up. Ndombele seems like he's done but we saw what he can do in a 3 with the assist against Liverpool.

If Conte is set on the 343 then we need more from the wingbacks (Traore makes sense) and another ball playing CB, plus Romero's return, should also improve our build up.

Barring Rodon and Davies when is the last time we bought a player from a premier league team. Surely there has to be players in the league that can improve us. I’m tired of us buying players from lesser leagues and “hoping “ they can adapt.

I'm not the biggest Traore fan in the world, but for 20 million pounds, I think it's worth a punt. If Conte can iron out some of the flaws in his game, he'd be a tremendous RWB.

I read an article earlier on that RM have offered us Isco for £5 million but Levy wants to wait until the Summer when his contract is up this saving £5 million unless someone else moves for him!

Big fan of Isco but not sure how he fits in to our side, he is an Eriksen style player but we don’t play that role in Conte’s system.

He hasn’t played RWB all that much, I don’t see him being able to fill that role defensively (and even going forward his end product is awful).

If Conte and Paratici want him then fine but can’t see the logic to be honest.

The idea would be he'd only play the role in matches where we are going to have a lot of possession and need to break teams down. He's amazing one on one and his crossing is somewhat decent - it's mostly his finishing that is extremely below average. In matches where we'd be defending more, Royal would be the better option.

Edit: You also have to wonder if Conte could get more out of him than Nuno could, we've already seen that happen with our own squad.
