Unfortunately PEA's goalscoring record since he got to Woolwich is pretty undeniable, only Kane, Salah, and Vardy can match it I think. They can spin it however they want, it's a big job for them to replace him.

Isak is pretty similar player profile to Auba except much less proven and not in the PL. Not physical, pace merchant (6'3 and weighs 145lbs), adds nothing in buildup play (only making 12 passes per game this season), decent finisher. He's young and has promise, but not a player I'd be sinking 100m euros into at this juncture.

Ozil, Xhaka and Auba were the three big losers they needed to get rid of. Two of whom were given the armband and all three of whom got bumper new contracts well after proving what unserious footballers they were. A banter club hat trick.

Lego Man is making progress, we’d be fools to deny it. Saka is mustard and plays with the right attitude, they ought to pay him anything it takes to lock him down and make him the captain and centerpiece, let’s hope they fuck it up.

Decision making I'd argue is a much less important attribute as a wing back than it is as a RF. Not saying it wouldn't be an issue still, but mostly it's a role that requires athleticism, ability to beat a man 1on1, and ability to throw balls in to the box. Conte's setup being what it is (highly structured) I think if we can get him doing what we know he's good at, we could be luck.

My biggest worries would be stamina as he tends to run out of energy early in games, and decision making in defensive areas. As an attacking RWB if you can cross to a competent standard and win 1on1s (which .. he's arguably the best in the world at) you're doing well.

If you don’t rate Adama you dont have to pretend you’re happy about him being signed if he does.

You can just be like, “I think this is a mistake from Conte and I don’t want him, hope he proves me wrong though”

You don’t have to pretend you want him when you don’t. Conte isn’t going to come and cup your balls.

You can have an opinion, but it's amazing to me you find it surprising that some people want the top class manager to get the players he wants.

I don't really care if you don't rate Adama, but the whole 'oh why are people just sheep, thinking their opinion matters less than Conte's..' is just fucking silly. It's obvious why people want the elite manager backed with players HE might value.
 
Don't really have great expectations this window and I doubt Conte has either, he knows the January window is a shit time to do business so a couple out or in is the max to be expected, anything outside of that is not the norm for most clubs including the super wealthy ones.

I don't think he'd even want too many as they won't be up to speed tactically and possibly fitness wise and mid season isn't a good time to try and get 4 or 5 players hitting the ground running.

It's pretty clear who he really doesn't want...Tanguy, Rodon, Doherty and Alli are probably top of the list, Berg and Gio possibly on it too. Come the summer he'll want these replaced and next season after a proper pre season we'll see a team capable of pushing Chelsea and Liverpool (their decline especially is beginning I think).

I don't think I am close to his biggest detractor on here. I just think he offers very little substance and a ton of flash.

There are ton of guys I want more than him but also guys I want less including the two options we currently have at RWB.
