City will soon have two if we continue like this.

Yet they don't....... Project future is cheating.

Chelsea have Lukaku and Werner. And yes, even if shit, Werner is a centre forward.

Werner is a failed CF that gets stuck on the wing the bulk of the time.

West Ham - you got one. And they have been crying out for another one as us because Antonio is injury prone just like Kane nowadays.

Indeed.

Even Bayern, Inter or Real have Choupo-Moting, Dzeko or Jovic. No need for the striker to be world class. I dont get how we dont even loan one in. The current side is so short of goal scorers.

I answered your question.... There will be more too.... Do some reading and get back to us about the rest of Spain, Germany, Italy, France....

Do we need one? Yes.....

But your question is completely ridden with "only Spurs" false rhetoric.

It's not a financial burden though.
I've got a mortgage on my house over less time than they have on that stadium. And my payments are a much bigger share of my income.
But I can still afford things.

And the club can afford things and in future (because of investing and taking on debt to build the stadium) will be able to afford even more things due to that investment. The only problem we have at the moment in that we've just gone through a pandemic which no one could have forecast for which ultimately has meant we are down approx £150 - £200 million. A large percentage of that would have been available for players.

We won't really start to see the full returns and benefit from the stadium until the pandemic is over and we are hosting the 20 events + other returns like the NFL etc.

Yes we are in a shitty position at the moment, yes Levy has made a lot of mistakes certainly in the past 3 or 4 years and i am in the camp that feel it's time he moved on and let someone else have a go. I said in a previous post about 18 months ago that the club seems to have lost it's soul. We the fans are the club and Levy seemed to forget this. The squad isn't good enough, but if we get 3 class players in this window and another 3 in the summer, i think we'll be in a great position for Conte to get us competing again. Unfortunately we as fans are going to have to ride this period out. The problems aren't just down to the quality of the squad but also down the to shocking fitness levels and almost anti-coaching the team has had since Poch left, that will also take time to put right, which Conte has called out several times.

Fans need to try and be patient, i think Levy made a big mistake in not stating that the club would be going through a period of austerity whilst the stadium was being built. It might have set peoples expectations lower. Also i think fans need to stop listening to ITKs and Twitter. The club has closed a lot of the leaks in the last few years, so until you hear something in the press or on the official site, it's probably bollocks, so don't get wound up if a deal doesn't come off, it was probably never on.

We have everything in place to compete, we just need the stadium to start being fully utilised and we will then reap the benefits.

The money we are down by is oddly similar to the money we got for being in the CL for 4 seasons....
I don't dispute the season with no fans hit our plans but I don't believe it's the main driver. The main driver is a lack of success on the pitch for 3 years. And that lack of success is from repeatedly buying shit.
It's a vicious cycle.

Also - if we wait for the stadium to to start making the money you think it will, we will be too late, fall further behind, lose Conte and have an absolute mountain to climb.

If there is wiggle room now, to use the FFP situation to our advantage, it should be done. We need to hedge our bets now, while we have an elite coach and 2-4 players we can still call decent. If we don't, and we we wait for the stadium to make money and use that, we'll be back to a Nono level coach, we'll have the likes of Gollini as our no.1, Kane and Son will be off and we'll be an absolute joke,

We're at that juncture now where it's sink or swim.

Done. It really seems that us, City and West Ham are the only ones.

City, West Ham, Leeds, Burnley, Udine and Strassburg operate squads of less than 24 first team players.
But apart from the first two, every club has atleast two centre forwards.

So Woolwich, who already have a better group of midfielders than us, are apparently looking at Athur on loan from Juve.

We should be all over a deal like that.

Paratici should be cleaning up with loans for anyone half decent in Serie A with his contacts. Get a fucking move on!

I'll go and belly flop on Levy's head and remain there until he gets the chequebook out - for a price. How much y'all willing to pay me?

Wow that was quick..... Nice one.

Now let's then assume your info amounts to a little column on a website that has CF written in it....... How many of those players amount to little more than Scarlet?

Remember your OG post said "somewhat experienced"?

I think the general point from our little chat is that no, it's not "just Spurs".
