They'll have to waste a lot of money on their way up, but yeh it's inevitable.

Probably fear it less than most. The main positive of him coming was that it appeared we wanted to achieve something and back a manager properly for once. If (and its still if at this stage) we aren't prepared to do that then there isnt much point him being here, either for us or him.
Possibly more stirred up because thats why he walked out of Chelsea and Inter Milan?Pretty obvious if you don't eat food you'll die at some time in the future too.
This whole narrtive about him walking out has been stirred up by Spurs fans I swear, no wonder the media are going to town asking him questions about it, it's because you all want to hear it, they're just profiting off your misery![]()

No. I dont think he'll walk out this season.
It's weird isn't it. They've quoted him yet seem to say "yeah, whatever Antonio," then ignore what he's said and write whatever they want based on their own agenda.I don’t know what more he can say about his future. The press seem to make a thing about it. It’s very strange.
But I repeat, I am enjoying my time at Tottenham and I have a good relationship with the people in Tottenham, with our chairman, with our general director. I want to work and improve this team. We have to be focused on the present to try to improve the situation.”
HahahhahahahahhahaPretty obvious if you don't eat food you'll die at some time in the future too.

Conte lost the dressing room at Chelsea.Possibly more stirred up because thats why he walked out of Chelsea and Inter Milan?
Fell out with Costa and then the board over lack of transfers, he wanted to sign Van Dijk and Lukaku iirc.
There was a bit more to it than that. The players had issues with his man management and training methods/style of play.Fell out with Costa and then the board over lack of transfers, he wanted to sign Van Dijk and Lukaku iirc.
Those Chelsea players had issues with everyone’s man management. The likes of Hazard, Willian, Costa etc were incredible players but also lazy cunts. There was a bit more to it than that. The players had issues with his man management and training methods/style of play.

It doesn't have to be Adama we sign, and Duncan Castles might know no more than myself, but I really hope we're not as motionless in the market as we seem to be. Would show a staggering lack of ambition given that the manager/formation change has left us with glaring needs.
We'll bring in at least 1, probably 2 but unless they are good enough to go straight into the first team then its just treading water.I struggle to believe we would actively be motionless this window. It might be difficult doing some business depending on who the target is and what we are willing to pay but there will be/must be talks ongoing somewhere.
I agree that it is better to sign no-one than more inadequate dross, which is also what Poch was saying back when we signed no-one. However we do need a kick up the arse, an injection of something new. Even if it players signed on pre-contracts for the summer would be good - get them in early rather than drag it out all summer.I normally agree that i'd rather not sign anyone than panic and just add a load more fodder we'll be trying to bin off in 12 months. However this window is a bit different, without signing anyone i dont see us getting top 4 and given the other sides involved there has to be a chance for us to achieve that. Also we have a pretty tenuous grip on our very demandng manager and i think we need to serve up at least 1 first team quality player this window with the promise of more come summer.
