Eriksen have consulted numerous top medical experts before making his decision - and of course any football league have consulted medical experts as to what conditions should bar a player from playing.
Research shows that most athletes CAN return to elite sport with an ICD, and ZERO elite athletes with an ICD have died from a heart attack during competitive sport.
So I ask again: What the fuck do you know since you hope that Eriksen’s wish is squashed? You pleb.

United blew us out of the water with him when they signed him. No reason we could sign him now.
Especially as he's never earned whatever they pay him.
Problem is, he doesn't do much else during a game. If they ever changed the rules to mirror NFL and let you swap players willy nilly, then sure, but as it is, set peice only players aren't much help.
If a loan to the end of the season is the right move for our striker problem we could do worse.
A permanent deal I'd be a little wary for a variety of reasons but the guy from two years ago is still in there somewhere.

Martial doesn't produce amazing numbers, but decent enough for the role as second striker. If properly motivated he would probably produce better numbers as well.
