deadleyledley is a big fan
Has a profile that looks like he's wanted for mugging a granny.

I think for what he cost the Geordies, it was worth a punt .I was always a fan though, and think we shouldn't have sold him.
He had a poor season, yes, but i feel he would have regained his past form.
Oh no, I'm a massive fan of Trippier, the shit he got in his last season was obscene. The work he had to do in Poch's system was overlooked and he was scapegoated to fuck IMO.

Had the last laugh on a few of the fans who seemed to actively despise him (even after he left) with a La Liga medal.

Still think he is better than all our options on the right side.

Still wish we would sign someone that can hit a decent dead ball, I'd personally take the risk on Eriksen for that alone tbh (medical pending).
Did he score at all in his last two years? I remember being just as frustrated with him as Kane toward the end. His corners were (eventually) beyond belief. Can't imagine his FKs were much better.

EDIT: Ah, I saw your qualification above.

This kid is an absolute baller!!!!!!

Not that big of a fan tbh

For me he's still a rough diamond. He reminds me a bit of the Muller/Dele type, a jack of all trades but a master at none who can be used in a number of attacking ways. I was surprised he was able to keep his place since he made a spectacular debut for Club Brugge, so kudos to him. The club has now lost their very successful coach, so it remains to be seen whether he was only able to flourish because of the system he grew in, or if he can keep on shinning with a new manager/new tactics.

In my opinion I estimate his level at the same as Leandro Trossard, who made the jump from the Belgian league to Brighton a couple of years ago. Now that guy is in their starting line up. Whether that's spectacular enough for us to consider that caliber of player remains to be seen.

Time will tell

Always very hard to judge kids and especially trying to make judgements on whether they can make the leap from his league to PL etc..

All I know is that every single time I've seen him (8/9/10 times now) he's been the best player on the park and in half of those games he's been outrageous! Only once was he a bit of a no show (it was a CL game but can't recall against who).

There are a lot of people talking about him now and if I recall Brugge, rightly IMO, signed him up to a new deal to maximize his value.

I think you're spot on with his comparisons with Dele, he's been superb when playing a 2nd striker type role, not a pure 10 but a player who's close to striker, often beyond the striker and also makes some well-timed late runs. Another player similar is Conor Gallagher, I think I'd say that "King Charles" is technically better on the ball (maybe that's because of the League???).

He absolutely won't be a £5m punt though, that ship sailed when he signed his new deal, so it will absolutely be a gamble for any PL Club coming in for him. I defiantly would look to sign him though, at the very least he'll have massive resale value if he is loaned out at the right Club if he fails to find a way into a Tottenham team.
