Funny thing is though, Lewes knew who all the teams that had been scouting him were because they asked Lewes for free tickets. Honestly, Premier League Clubs asking Lewes for free tickets so they can scout one of their players. Madness. You would think the PL teams would just pay the £11 entry fee and maintain their anonymity.

You have no idea what you are talking about. There may not be any other club in England that is in a better, self-sustaining financial position than Spurs. The problem isn’t outrageous spending in other areas by Levy and the club when it comes to transfers, it’s a combination of poor scouting, padding the bottom line by not buying while the team was playing well, and then often missing out on players due to lowballing/slow offers.

No he didn't, he barely played him for the best part of 6 months because he recognised Eriksen didn't work the way he wanted him to. Even when he adjusted, he wasn't a 90 minutes a week player. He hasn't played league football since May last year either so useless to us now.
