Could somebody please fill me in on where exactly our squad is stacked? Because we have a dearth of attacking/creative players, a dearth of wide players, a dearth of defenders apparently, and seemingly only 3 serviceable centre midfielders.
We have a full squad so there must be one position that we are well covered for? You can't even say we're well stocked at keeper, because beyond Hugo we're absolute trash in that department too.
How the fuck has so much money been spent on a squad so blatantly lacking in almost every sense? We've had one fucking striker for what seems like centuries for crying out loud!
He was their player of the season by a fucking mile and that season earned him a big money move to Liverpool. He scored big goals for them against the likes of Man United, Liverpool and us in that horrendous 5-1 loss up there.
He spent 5 years at Liverpool. You know, champions league winners, runners up and premier league winners Liverpool. A team he was a nailed on starter for for his entire time there.
GLC is not a creative midfielder. He's a very basic footballer at best.
