I changed my mind on something during this window. Now belive Conte may actually pack up and go at some point or lose interest in his job to a point that Levy will be forced to ‘pull the trigger’

Unfortunately people have always had a tendency to lynch somebody for merely being the bearer of bad news.

One of my favourite historical stories is the Parthian king who had a habit of killing messengers who brought him bad news so he lost a major battle when the Romans attacked and nobody had the bollox to tell him they had arrived.
 
Putting a positive spin on the Traore and Diaz events, these both demonstrate we are feeding at the top table. We are trying to buy players that teams who were automatic choices for the ESL want.

Still fed up we are likely to miss out though

of those 2 options I really hope he walks. We literally have a chance to build a great team around 1 of the best managers in world football and we can't even get him a fucking signing. This club does my head in sometimes. Why did we even sign Conte, shoulda just stayed with Nuno if we didn't have ambition.

Yeah, said in the past he'd love to play for us. Watched him a few months ago and he's a good young player, definitely not somebody I think could come in and be a starter for us now though.

Don't fall for Levy's tricks. If he really wanted to buy these players, he would have started the process a month ago. He would recognise that better clubs are interested in the same player and act accordingly.

Anyone can "try" to sign someone. I can send Zendaya an Instagram message and ask her to marry me, that's "trying". Does that mean it was ever going to happen?
