Transfers January 2022 - Transfer Window

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we get turned down by a 19 year old Woolwich fan that hates Kane and plays in division 8 it would be the icing on the cake this window.
Fuck that. Him and Doherty working together...

WTF is wrong with this club?

If however we simply gave the seller what they wanted first time you can get singings over the line before any other clubs come in

It's a two way street if on the first of Jan we came in and offered them the 40 they wanted he's a spurs player in time to play in all those Chelsea games.

Levy's done his usual tricks and as usual it seems to be backfiring

Conte will walk and I don't blame him and we will be in the mire

Do you honestly think there'd have been no Liverpool interest in that case?

People here were talking about Liverpool's interest carrying over from summer 2021 the moment we got linked to Diaz this window....

Bottom line is that Diaz's agent will have spoken to X amount of clubs to canvass any last minutes suitors before the player put pen to paper regardless of what point of the window we attempted to move.... That's just how the process works(*)

(*Unless the player is 100% single-minded about the club he wants..... Diaz is not a Spurs fan, so why would he not consider other clubs before signing away the next 5 years of his life?)

The harsh truth is that until we are back in the CL. We cannot shop in the same categories as Liverpool and Chelsea and the like. If we are in for the same players those players will go to Chelsea and Liverpool instead like we have seen with Diaz. The moment Liverpool voiced their intent he decided to go there instead.

We need to aim for younger prospects that are willing to come here to showcase themselves.
Or you pay a bit more. As Newcastle are doing.

Quick bit of working backwards reveals this Liverpool Diaz stuff originated from this:

Now, not saying it’s untrue, but from my understanding ( Nabil Bentaleb Nabil Bentaleb please correct me if I’m wrong), this paper is a bit like the express and the star had a premature baby where the pregnant party was chain smoking the entire time.
Nope mate “o jogo” is tier 1 about Porto. They ain’t always right but most times they are :(

Shadydan Shadydan

I can’t reply to you in clutter, it’s been locked

But I knew you wouldn’t be able to not have the last word 😂, can read your type like a book mate

I tried to be amicable with you, but you don’t have the decorum for that

So I’ll say this, stop tagging and replying to me you fucking politician, I like most people on here, am absolutely done with the complete garbage you come out with

Don’t mention me again and I won’t mention you, simple

Bottom line is do it early in the window not the last week. At least then you have time to go for other targets rather than rushing round like headless chickens because theres no time left and getting the next Gregorz Rasiak

There's plenty to take issue with Levy with, but not sure what more could be done about Diaz if what is been widely reported is true that we were meeting transfer fee and wage demands.

Once you're outside the European Cup places, any player on the move is going to opt for the guarantee of a club who are inside that particular tent.

We're left scouting around for players in the £20-30 million category, who due to our shit scouting policy (that's on Levy) invariably don't work out.

When you spend over £50 million on a player, you should be getting a finished product, serious operator. We've only every gone into that bracket once and we end up with Ndomebele. Enough said.
