That we signed Lo Celso with a loan/option doesn't mean he wasn't scouted. He looked good at Betis.

As I said at the outset it depends which reports we believe. I could well believe we wanted Lamela off the wage bill and we valued Gil loads based off lo celso, sessignon, Ndombele etc. Equally could easily believe we got some cash value for Lamela to bring the price down.
