Wage bill is very important to keep light when possible. No matter what people say about ENIC being cheap, this is a billion dollar corporation that will clearly have budgets set for each area. A lighter wage bill gives us more flexibility going forward.
I think it has left us lighter in certain areas but then we knew that we wouldn't address more than 1/2 positions.
Leaves us with a chance of Europa League which is better than last season at any rate

The ONLY thing that is pertinent to me, or any other Spurs fan for that matter, is what Spurs do

So if United (or Arse) finish the season with 10 more points than us and pip us to top 4 it doesn't matter to you?

I understand you angle here, but it's bloody minded given the dynamic at play for the rest of the season.

(Especially when the flipside of the coin is pages and pages of melting from people crying about other clubs signings "embarrassing us"..... Maybe that isn't you, but it certainly is hypocrites like Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive .)

yet leaving us short
no attack minded mids

no rwb

no back up striker

while the outgoings are good

we need more then 2 incoming as things stand

We needed more signings but we were always going to be precisely as short as we are now. Ndombele offered us nothing, I'd honestly rather play a youth player than put him in the team, same with Alli in recent games.

Lack of a back up striker/proper RWB is annoying though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't two of the players we are 'shipping out' simply going to be back again in the summer due to the fact these teams they're going to now are not going to want to trigger the extortionate buy options, unless they have an out of this world second half of the season which is, unlikely....?

Lloris, Gollini

Emerson, Doherty
Reguilon, Sessengon
Romero, Dier, Sanchez, Davies, Tanganga, Rodon

Skipp, Hojbjerg, Winks, Bentancur

Lucas, Bergwijn, Kulusevski,

Kane, Son

Looks like that'll be our senior squad for January to May. Premier League and FA Cup competitions. Majority 1 game a week, with the odd exception.

Thoughts?

No but I'm sure they will both show they can do it in the league's that they done very well in before

Whatever happens now, his career is over.

He might avoid jail if he's lucky. Maybe he'll plead guilty and manage to bs the judge by blaming it on youth and public pressure, the mad money turning his head etc. Maybe the judge will buy it and sentence him to community work, having to take classes, pay a huge fine etc. Or maybe his lawyers and the victim will settle out of court and she'll drop the charges.

But whether he goes to jail or manages to stay free thanks to his lawyers (and double standards when it comes to punishing celebs), his career as a top club and England footballer is over. Nobody in their right mind - sponsors included - will go anywhere near him. At least in the UK, France, Germany, Italy...

All I want to say is, fuck that little coward piece of shit. And anybody else like him who prey on the weak, who take advantage of somebody's love for them to abuse them. I do hope he goes to jail and has a friendly chat with some real tough bastards before they give him a soapy bath
If he’s convicted of this rape, he hasn’t a chance in hell of avoiding prison and it will be a very hefty sentence I’m sure.
8-10 years would be my guess depending on the facts but it sounded like it was “you know what will happen if you don’t” (ie another beating black and blue as per the images we’ve seen) and the aggression in his voice was sickening.
Not even the best lawyer money can buy will talk a judge out of making an example of him.
And like you, if he is found guilty, then I genuinely hope he has the most brutal prison experience possible.
