Kane to United makes way too much sense.

Less of a £££ deal, more of a 'player swap'-type deal.

Some shit like, Spurs get one or more of:

Martial (contract also ends June 2024)
Wan Bissaka (contract ends June 2024)
DeGea (contract ends June 2023)
Garnacho (contract ends June 2024)
Maguire (contract ends June 2025)

The story writes itself: "Eriksen... to Kane!"
Maguire and Dier together ...new fear unlocked

I had thought that his intention was to go to Brazil to finish off his career. This doesn't seem to make much sense.
Yes he always says he'll return to Sao Paulo, but there was an interview in Brazil saying it's unlikely to happen now, his wages would be a problem (according to him!). He's only 30 so I expect he'll go to a lower PL club or somewhere else in Europe for a while.

If he isn’t prepared to sign a new contract this Summer, we simply have to sell him. It’s one of the few occasions where you really would want the club to look at the pure economics.

We’d get £80 million, plus move his £14 million a year off the books. That’s the same as a run pretty far into the CL.

We’d just be delaying the inevitable.

80m + is serious dosh.

Not sure that'll be on offer tho.....My prior comments are more on the basis of 40-50m..... Goals vs depreciation can often be whittled down to 1m per goal so it kinda fits...... But we'll see.
