One thing I totally disagree with is the idea that we can’t get a RWB because it’s a Conte system and he could leave.
Progressive managers can make a 343 work with an attacking team. Nagelsmann at Leipzig, Potter at Brighton etc
If we get ball playing CBs and a quality outlet at RWB to match Udogie/ Perisic on the left; why wouldn’t a new progressive manager build an attacking 343 team?
There’s NO excuses to not spend big this Jan.

ENIC need to sell. The lack of vision on the footballing side of things is really getting embarrassing.
Also most rwb can play rb in an attacking team anyway.

That may not be the case with Pedro Porro from what I’ve read and seen.
Both Conte and a progressive manager will do well with Udogie and Porro as wingbacks in a 343.
But first we need to replace Lloris and Dier, liabilities.

I could definitely see United but my feeling was that I could see him at somewhere like Bayern but I don’t think he gets the payday he’d be looking for either. Madrid could be an option with a rapidly aging Benzema possibly.

Can we please just play good football? I have been a fan for somewhere in the region of 40 years and I cannot remember ever being so bored by my beloved Spurs. And yet we have a really good team. I guess the point within the realm of this thread is that we don’t really need major incomings. We just need a team and a philosophy. Switch out Son for Gil or Richi. Get Benta and Biss in midfield. We have new team. Stop playing 5-2-3 and throwing the first half and our opponents might be left guessing !
