How do you know? Are you a scout?
I am not saying the story tell the whole story but it's nothing new that scouts overlook 15 years old (and younger) who later become quality players. Kane is one example.

Because your source is lame and when you read 'according to sources' it's the biggest red flag that tells you it's most likely bullshit, it also suggests that he would have had exactly the same career path of he signed for us, that isn't how it works, he could have ended up like Troy Parrot for all we know.

NicI don’t understand why Saudi didn’t come in for Ndombelly and Sanchez. I can’t help thinking this is because Levy and Lewis are Jewish, and therefore this is a form of racism

Nick Young Wtf GIF

So you are suggesting that Troy Parrot choose the wrong club and if he had chosen Brighton he would have ended up as Ferguson
Sorry, but your logic is just pure guess work.

100 players we would have scouted who had the same ceiling at 15. It's a lottery of genetics /luck with injuries and personality after that

That's the same with every team

Could have is still suggesting that it was a possibility.
The 'according to sources' could be just as a reliable as your statement that Ferguson could have ended up as Parrot...

That is literally my point.

I'm not claiming to be right, I'm saying that just because Ferguson was a hit for Brighton, doesn't mean he would have been a hit with us, my point is based on supposition just like you choosing the believe that we missed out on him.

What I am certain is that the article is bullcrap though, you really need to check your sources, sources have told football insider - you might as well speak to Dave down the pub, just a load of nonsense.

Reo Hatate seems possibly out of favour with Rodgers at Celtic. Could move for him in Jan if Hojbjerg prefers to leave.

(edit - he's currently injured however)

Spurs agree deal to sign Croatian starlet Vuskovic - but he won’t join for some time

Highly-rated teenage defender Luka Vušković is set to sign for Tottenham.
A host of clubs including Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have all been linked with the towering centre-back.

Vuskovic broke into the Hajduk Split first-team in the spring despite only turning 16 years of age in February, as he played a role in his team’s Croatian Cup triumph. During that campaign, he became Hajduk’s youngest-ever goalscorer just five days after his 16th birthday.

Spurs have won the race to secure his signature after a breakthrough in talks over the weekend, with personal terms agreed.

Given his young age, Vuskovic will remain at Hajduk until he turns 18 to continue his development before arriving in north London. That means his move is projected to take place in the summer of 2025.

The transfer fee involved in the deal is unconfirmed but rumoured to be in the region of £12million.

Buying him now to remain in Croatia till 18 seems risky, and frankly really stupid.

His current club no longer has any stake in him, they'll prioritise other players over him when it comes to playing time. That is unless he's so damn good that he is impossible to bench, which seems very unrealistic.
