No real other way to do it due to the post-Brexit rule changes making it so we can't sign overseas players until they turn 18.
We did the same with Udogie and Sarr.....

We left them with their clubs for half a season. Udogie was already a vital starting 11 player. IIRC, Sarr was more of a bench player.
This kid is 16, and not fully a starter yet.

Club like us can’t get these types of talent by the time they get to RB, let alone if they get on City’s radar. This recruitment model is Brighton with x2 the cash to invest. It’s smart IMO

Fair enough. Suppose I'm getting Jack Clarke PTSD. Whatever the case, I hope it works out.
If he is good enough he'll play and develop and Hajduk benefits by being a better team. Simple as that.
Jack Clarke got 9 goals and 12 assists (21 goal involvements) in 45 matches last season in Championship and already has 2 goals in 5 matches this season...... so Clarke is not the issue.
Amazingly his record at Sunderland last year as an AM was surpassed by Alex Prichard, another former Spurs academy graduate.
The total failure of the last 3 (4 including Nuno) permanent coaches/managers to get pretty much anything right for youth development is mindboggling - might exclude Mourhino who did get a few things right. No apparent ability to get them loans at the right clubs or actively monitoring their progress whilst there just another example. And the reason why we have struggled on Club trained and HG front

I meant how after we planned him back to Leeds he was seemingly frozen out by Bielsa.
Jack clarke ironically was a club signing, he wasn't signed for Poch and funnily enough it looks like it turned out that he is the only one who was decent.

Agree, but its part of the buying process to know if player is to be loaned back and ensure its agreed - and possibly configure the payments so if club to whom he is loaned don't play him, they suffer. But after the Leeds loan fiasco he was loaned to several other clubs with indifferent results.
And equally manager needs to know which players he is responsible for developing in house - although Conte was a waste of space from that point of view
Can't change the team after that performance though there's normally some rotation after the international break due to fatigue.
