Can someone enlighten me? I thought Perisic was supposed to only go to Split after the end of this season? Why is it that his hard work to get back to fitness, presumably with our staff and facilities, and he's actually going to be playing for Split instead?

Large chunk of wages off the balance sheet aswell I imagine.

He'd definitely do a job for us but with Solomon and Werner we should have ample cover in his position now.

Because we don't think we will use him and want to get rid of his wages, perhaps a small fee too.

Playing for fitness in the PL is different to Croatian league

Went to a few Brugge games a couple years back whilst there on business, but he wasn't in the squad. The player that impressed me most was that Vanaken guy they got as a CAM/FWD. I'm actually surprised he's never made it to the PL or even Bundesliga cause he's clearly too good for the Jupiler. Has scored a fair few in the CL too. But dude's nearly 32 now.
Shit team with a shit stadium, innit?

Well, it is BIT different, either he would return to extremely high-tempo and physically demanding EPL OR would play in Croatia league, isn't it?!?

Most likely we have came to conclusion that he wouldn't be fit enough to really get into TOP-4-EPL-Condition and made such an agreement.

We are getting stretched in terms of overseas players spots in the squad with Werner added, so it makes sense too. I think it is best for all parties.

Very good football team, the best in Belgium for some time and a regular on the European scene (where they've had a few decent results), playing lovely football, integrating young players from BE or abroad and doing a fine job of it. Old stadium, yes, but still a nice venue...staff and fans very welcoming, pretty good atmosphere, very safe too.

Lovely city on top of that, great cafes & bars, some awesome beers (tad pricey) and chocolate. And the women...my oh my.

I’ve watched the YouTube compilations and I just thing that this kid has a certain pedigree that screams Spurs. He follows a long list of players we’ve bought in the same vein.

-N’jie
- N’koudo
-Ndombele
And now Nusa. This is a slam dunk for me!

Goodwill for vuskovic i gather

And goodwill to Perisic. He seems like a decent chap who is desperate to play at the Euro's. He may only get a few minutes here and there at Spurs, he may well play every game for HS.

I think Chelsea have their eyes set on other targets anyway. They’re heavy on this young Brazilian kid I’ve been seeing a lot of, also looking for a top striker as is well reported. Which would make it tough to then go and spunk 30 mill on Nusa when they’re already deep in FFP hot water.

I wouldn’t expect them to rival us here unless they did something crazy. Of course, doing something crazy is the Boehly MO… but it doesn’t feel like they are prioritizing him.

What they going to buy him with? Pick n mix from woolies?

Fuck 'em. Scum chav cunt club who don't deserve to live (football club-wise, not literally!)

I assume they're going to buy players with money and worry about the FFP breaches 10 years later like City did.

City have wrote the playbook. If you're going to break FFP, do it so many times that it takes a decade to build a case. Then have your very expensive lawyers draw it out for another decade or so.
