Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Rayan Cherki is the one who we need.....someone who has the close ball skills to dribble past opponents in tight spaces and create openings for his teammates. I know he has many critics because of past attitude issues but if this club is not prepared to pay big fees and wages for the very top players then they will have to look at players like Cherki who are very talented but come with some potential baggage.

SERIOUSLY?

You seriously have forgotten what signing a talented tribbler with attitude issues from Lyon gets you? :goonermong:

Is that your first day of being Spurs fan?!?

RKM doesn’t fit the way PSG play but he does fit the way we play, he adds quality depth to our squad and will be the player Richy should have been in this squad

Dude spends all day bigging up the manager who has us in 12th with a 50% loss rate but accuses others of loving mediocrity. I'd just ignore him.
Exactly. It's blatantly obvious they're Levybots, club stooges. How anybody can still engage with them is beyond me.

Levy and his fat boy could've us all the way down to League 2, you'd still get you know who x 6 or 7 to say the club is well managed, Levy is a hero etc.

Baffling.

That’s what should happen, but I think it’s a problem for us right now. Our tactical ethos seems very manager specific. Is there another out there that plays like Ange? And if so, would we want to carry on with this style if it doesn’t work for him?

You don't really need to recruit like for like, just don't recruit a Jose or Conte which is the extreme end from Poch.

Iarola would fit that bill for example.

Keep Roddy for the bench. Sell Biss at any rate.
I’d move both. Bentancur just isn’t available enough and hasn’t played well for too long.

Biss has had the better games of the 2 over the last 2 seasons but he’s not reliable either.

We need tough cookies in our MF. Players that will force Sarr, Berg and Gray to reach much higher levels to displace them. I’d be happy playing all of them over Biss and Bentancur now.

4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1 with a high press and demands on the full backs to invert?

Fucking shitloads of them.

Ange is different in that he's psychologically more attack-minded in philosophy but tactically he's not really that different to a lot of coaches. He commits more players forward but the demands on every player to have ball-playing skills and the engine to press for 90+ minutes isn't unique to him.
