Piece of art. The truth, nothing but the truth. How can anyone read that and disagree even with one small thing?

I think the very worst thing about being a fan of this Great club, at this moment in time is absolutely the lack of surprise at the constant defeats.

There is one thing I will say, and that is I think there is an incorrect relationship between the quality of our players amd how sh!t we have been. They may not be the best but nobody tell me they are this bad. Same as United. It is far too easy to pour all the blame on the respective owners.

Postecoglou is doing a rubbish job and that seems to be dismissed in any analysis, much as it's clear that the failure this window to bring in players is simply beyond belief.

Get what you are saying and that was Levy’s plan but the way City are spending this window, it looks like they are getting away with it and nothing seems to have deterred Chelsea,

Tbh it’s not an incentive for the PL to really stop the rampant spending because it brings talent to their competition. Even Forest aren’t the plucky underdogs the PL would love everyone to believe. Look at their criminal owner crazy spending volumes.

The time for Levy to worry about hypocrisy has passed imo
The reason Levy ain't spending got nothing to do with wanting to change the game, teach the PL a lesson etc.

He doesn't spend (enough) on the footy cause he'd rather build hotels and shit. And give himself and his cronies fat paycheck & bonuses. He's basically ripping the club off...and will continue til there's no juice left to squeeze.

Also, I'm convinced he wants to win on the very cheap to prove to the world what an incredible, never-seen-before genius he is. Man's the most egocentric, self-absorbed cunt there is.

Some think that the day he dies it'll get better. Nah, even that event wouldn't bring us relief. His son will just take over and ensure the family's legacy of shame goes on.

I still don't get why Spurs fans get so wound up that Spurs don't win anything. They haven't been a club that wins stuff since Football was played by middle-aged men with a Pint in one hand and a fag in the other.

Surely nobody really started supporting Spurs thinking they were backing a 'winning team'? Sure, if you were born in the area, you are stuck with them; but for anyone else, what really was your expectation?

Spurs are just one of the clubs there to make up the numbers. The owners are trying to change that and be successful but have prioritized running the club as a commercial enterprise, rather than a football team.

At least with Ange, every game is an exciting thrill ride, full of emotion - with lots of highs and lows. Imagine if you had to watch an AVB game every week. Even winning was boring.
That is pathetic. Every word of it, sorry.

No point even being polite about it.

It’s not wholly on Ange that we are 15th. But it’s on him that we aren’t 10th. I’d apportion 5 places in the league to Ange, 5 to the players and 5 to the owners. Better manager gets us 10th, add in better players, we finish 5th, add in better owners, we finish top.

You continue to be a truly fascinating case study of Levy Stockholm Syndrome. Really should be investigated for science.

So this is the sort of person that votes Levy in

Yeah, we hear a lot about injuries but the analysis shows that Brighton have sustained even more injury days than we have this season and are higher up the table on a comparibly tiny budget.

Why are there so many people on this thread who are 'shocked' / 'amazed' / 'in disbelief' that we've not made signings this month? How many January windows do you have to go through before you understand that this is the norm, we never buy lots of players in January, no one does, no one ever has or ever will, and an injury crisis won't make any difference to that, never has and never will. So whilst it might be disappointing, it's not 'shocking' at all - a shock is by definition something you weren't expecting - given all the criticism of the owners on this forum, how can the same people be 'shocked' when the owners act exactly as those people say they always act. :/

It was a sad read to be honest mate. It hits home hard what we are and where we are going. As fans we now have a duty to make noise. Supporters hire and fire managers if they make enough noise but for some reason we don’t make Levy and ENIC uncomfortable. There are the odd protest but nothing that will make a difference.
Maybe it’s time for us supporters to step up and really find a way to be heard. Is that not buying season tickets, not buying anything at the club, not travelling to away games or just going to the games and making a real fucking noise about how bad it is?
It’s hard because there’s thousands that will still want to go and support the team because that’s what we’ve done all our lives but these owners are killing our club from a footballing perspective.
Levy and ENIC will argue the club is in a great position of how it’s run but they have a duty of care to us supporters who want to win as much as possible but they obviously don’t give a fuck.
Is this all a big plan to make the club a more viable purchase or is it that they just don’t care about winning?

I want to be able to enjoy being a Tottenham supporter again because it’s been well and truly taken away from me. The Woolwich game in the second half was the first time in my life where I was silent and had nothing in me.

Sad times and as I said that piece is a sad read.
