Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I’m actually shocked here.

Not that we aren’t buying players. We’ve all seen that one coming, we know how January is, many players aren’t available and the ones that are usually are for a reason. Deals are difficult to do.

But even in our lowest eras under Levy we at least bluster and chase and show some sort of initiative to the fans and manager. Some lies about agent fees or work permit bollocks. At least we give the appearance of trying.

This winter in a clear injury crisis we haven’t even done that. We are openly not trying. It truly is shocking to see. Levy has officially given up.

The same team is really gonna play Thursday and Sunday again aren't they
:ange-facepalm:end of the month and no-one, cant grasp how levy has allowed this to happen

It's not worthy of humour. It is simply beyond belief.

A dereliction of duty times whatever factor you can think of.

Kieran McGuire “They certainly can spend if they want to”, “most profitable club in Prem History”, “Lowest Wages to Turnover”.

Teetering on disaster, linked with absolutely nobody to give us hope and club fed reporters saying “it’s tough January, we might get one signing done”.

Just listened to TS Adrian Durham, Danny Murphy & Darren Lewis show.

Murphy (who i think is legit) is stating that he believes there's an issue between Ange and Maddison and that lack of laying time is the real issue. Secondly after the game Ange saying that Sarr shouldn't have started is strange because he had Bissouma on the bench.

Murphy also thinks that the Liverpool and Villa game will be the decider on his future, in particular the Scouse game.

Finally, Murphy (quite rightly) finds it impossible to believe that is every part of the media, and ex-players can see Ange's poor system, and tactics set up, why can't his coaches?

Well worth a listen, on talksport listen again.

What a farce this window has turned out too be. Even I thought surely we have sign acouple outfielders players give our injury crisis - how naive that was.

Its very odd. Solanke is out for a while. Richarlison is broken. Is this really why we recalled Scarlett from loan!

Van Der Ven and Romero are back in training.
Madisson is cleared.
Johnson, Udogie 3 or 4 weeks away.

So, potentially, by the time the Liverpool and Villa cup fixture comes around, we could look like this - Which is potentially our best team. Ange needs to get some minutes in the legs of Romero/VDV and it wouldn't surprise me to see them feature against Elfborg.

Kinsy
Porro - Romero - VDV - Davies
Bissouma - bentencaur
Kulu - Maddison - Son
Richarlison

But that still leaves the bench all but bare. We need some quality in if we want a chance at the cups.

Don't need any fcukimg talk show to state the fcuking obvious

The Liverpool and Villa game- the deciders. For what exactly- it's rhetorical.

Self-inflicred wounds. Deluded chairman and deluded fans.

I'm seething at this situation and any half decent and free thinking Spurs fan would be right to demand answers to this month's insction (to date) and to ask why such failure can continue to be accepted. It's freakish by nearly any conceivable metric and with zero justification.

It beggars belief the lack of action - beyond anything we say in Jan 2009 after the 2 points in 8 games debacle season when Levy took action when faced with the threat of relegation.

This season, Munn, Lange etc. what are they doing. As people say, the F in THFC is the priority and if Levy is reactionary when his investment is at risk of devalue it isn’t showing - because it isn’t due to the other events.

We know what’s coming, last minute loans, etc , excuses as he won’t pay for the now, just for kids for the future. This model isn’t sustainable or acceptable for what was the 8th richest club in the world, will take a few years and a change of ownership to get there.

Fully support unified fan action to protest to the next level. All pods need to unite.
