Levy's League One Lillywhites, mate.

Mate, no jest.

We will all feel like sh!t if that happens. At least I know I would.

There us no coherent explanation for what we are witnessing.

And a massive leap of faith that even if our players return to some semblance of fitness, this ramshackle coach can get a tune out of them.

And left to reliance on the players' professionalism and pride, we might as well pack up.

When we get to 37 points or mathematical certainty I might allow myself a chortle.

I get it with Dibling. He has a young, left footed Kvaratshkelia vibe to him but he’s not that level right now and that’s what we need right now.

Fine to get him for the summer but we still need experienced players in the summer as well.

On Dibling, we should still go for him now, but in addition to.

Dibling will/should be fit in 5 weeks or so, then ready for the rest of the season. Makes sense.

But not at the expense of reinforcements now, but the two things can co-exist.

In a non-levy world yes but when has Levynomics ever had space for 50m on a talent like Dibling AND another 60m on an established player in the same window?

I agree, get Dibling, he’s talented but he’s not top priority for what we need now, surely?

On the basis that at the current rate we won't get that established player and if that blind faith allows us to believe we will find a way to claw out of the pit, then I would prefer Dibling now than to moss out.

Priority - I am unsure anyone actually knows what that truly means to Lange, Levy and all those people who oversee expenditure and talent-spotting.

597 pages to this thread and just one young goalie. I think that says volumes for how far apart the fans and the board are. Do we really believe they are trying hard. I doubt they are trying at all. This club badly needs a lift. Neymar is a free agent. I can't stand him but his arrival would completely change the narrative. It's been 4 months since he did his hammy so I'm guessing he's good to go. Can you imagine the buzz. But we all know it won't happen. Josh Windass on loan is the sort of thing this club will do.

Interesting proposition. Both unlikely but on your post, correct.

597 pages, RSI taking hold, frustration building and yet we still hope against hope.

This club in the last few months in particular has been an utter sham.

What are we saying about Jon Jo shelvey the bald enforcer.
No-no Shelvey???

Its very odd. Solanke is out for a while. Richarlison is broken. Is this really why we recalled Scarlett from loan!

Van Der Ven and Romero are back in training.
Madisson is cleared.
Johnson, Udogie 3 or 4 weeks away.

So, potentially, by the time the Liverpool and Villa cup fixture comes around, we could look like this - Which is potentially our best team. Ange needs to get some minutes in the legs of Romero/VDV and it wouldn't surprise me to see them feature against Elfborg.

Kinsy
Porro - Romero - VDV - Davies
Bissouma - bentencaur
Kulu - Maddison - Son
Richarlison

But that still leaves the bench all but bare. We need some quality in if we want a chance at the cups.
We don't have a "best team"!!
