Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I will give you that... in the Summer window. The last instance I can remember a situation close to this was Diaz. Before that was Dybala in Jan.
One can hope this is more in line with Kulu/Bentancur but we had a free run at them.

No team has paid a single penny in trf fees for Dybala since that saga.......... Both us & (a very spendy at the time) Man U both told him (his 350kpw wage demands), Juve (38m) and his poxy image rights (another alleged 30-40m) bollocks to piss off and have been proven right to have done so.

How you equate this to the Tel situ is proper random.

Want to wake up seeing tel in spurs colours more chance of me shagging margot Robbie tonight
You're shagging Margot Robbie??

And regardless, Dybala was back when Levy was still our lead figure in transfer dealings, a different time.

Honestly, who knows, that may have been the moment that Levy decided "I am too old and too rich to put up with this bullshit anymore, I'm hiring this Juve chancer to handle it for me"

Right, but the City thing is a matter of retrospective punishment.

Newcastle cannot today do what City did and write "lol a zillion trillion pounds" on a cocktail napkin and have it counted as a legitimate sponsorship deal that they can purchase players against.

Chelsea are the ones that continue to baffle.... They truly are the quintessential cockroaches when it comes to all things financial..........

Teflon cunts.

Annoying thing is that the goal Ajayi scored is something that none of our WFs have done this season under Ange - cut inside, passed the ball and followed it with aggressive intent into the box. Will this get coached out of him? Or are Johnson, Werner, Son all not capable of that type of move?
To be fair none have faced such poor defending.

Romano says he is deciding with his agent which club to move to and whether it's on loan or permanently. So it sounds like he has some loan options, probably United.

I just have a feeling he's going to turn us down. Just feel the fact he's thinking it over so much, reckon we find out in the morning.

Will be properly bad PR if he turns a perm move to us down and heads out on loan to somewhere like United.

Across north London, Tottenham are also looking at attackers, hilariously entering the race for Southampton’s Tyler Dibling. Most likely, the player joins Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund, both also interested, but the enticing opportunity of full Spursification, bringing with it a life of perpetual failure and untold misery, may yet win the day.

It seems The Guardian have a complete wanker writing for them. They actually put this out today

Hopefully he does turn us down
