If we buy proper RW - i won't cry after Tel failed deal. He seems mostly CF/LW hybrid. We have that plenty already in Son/Richy, plus injured Odobert and young Moore also prefer to play at LW.

I'm a bit surprised we are losing out to Man United if the reports are true. I thought it would be Chelsea or Woolwich. Man United has been a graveyard for new signings in recent years while at least we have a decent record of developing and improving young players. I could see why he would have preferred a move to our London rivals but I actually think he'd be making a mistake going to United over us.
Keane was a very good player, but he needed another striker to play off or he struggled. Berba could do it all by himself - hold up, run in behind, makes goals out of nothing, finish in the box. There are levels.
