This is the key thing for me. We need someone who can create some goals in the PL because we look short there atm.
The problem there is that most top players have a choice of clubs and probably think they can do better than Spurs.
Do we just never go after these players out of fear they won't sign for us? Then you have the other half of fans arguing that we aren't ambitious enough and are always taken the cheap option!
If it took Lange 3 weeks too realize RKM wasn’t signing for us then we’re even more fucked than i thought we were.

At no point is Tel coming to us! I’d be astonished if I saw him in a Tottenham strip. If it was going to happen it would have been concluded by now.
These people need to try pretending they're 19 years old and they've been given 24 hours to decide if they want to move to another country to join Spurs when they're also aware United are lurking.
I mean obviously we'd all jump at it because we're all Spurs fans. Real life 19 years olds making real life big life decisions without the sentimental pull of being Spurs? Not so much.
