I'm glad they tried anyway! I won't knock them for thatI think its funny Levy and Lange actually think they can sign Tel.

Said all along never target a player who's rejected us before. It's a waste of time.
No offence to sky news but they seem to be lagging around 2 or 3 hours behind Fabrizio Romano and other top journalists
Those top journalists aren’t necessarily getting newer information, they just aren’t getting paid by clubs and agents to put out a certain volume of posts and follow specific editorial lines.
They are 24hr news funded by adverts and follow their own formula for gaining viewers.
Same game, different players.
Ultimately only one club has actually done a deal with Bayern. When Liverpool hijacked us on Diaz they didn’t fuck about. When we hijcaked Dragusin and Bergvall those deals were done between the clubs overnight.
I suspect we could on a straight loan.I think its funny Levy and Lange actually think they can sign Tel.
Levy has been bashed for not showing enough ambitions by not going after top-players/prospects but when he shows ambitions, and initiates negotiations with players like Muani & Tel, he get bashed for that too (for being over-ambitious)![]()

The issue is he has let the clubs stock drop so low that no top player would want to join us.Levy has been bashed for not showing enough ambitions by not going after top-players/prospects but when he shows ambitions, and initiates negotiations with players like Muani & Tel, he get bashed for that too (for being over-ambitious)![]()

It was Bayern and not Tel who rejected a bid from Spurs, when Spurs tried to include Tel in the Kane deal.Apparently in August 2023 as part of the Kane deal. News to me!
It’s felt like journalists are miles behind the curve on this one too. Wait till he’s pictured in training today for Bayern and people lose their shit further! That’s what usually happens!
That makes a lot more sense and if that is the case then Tel himself didn't reject us in 2023.It was Bayern and not Tel who rejected a bid from Spurs, when Spurs tried to include Tel in the Kane deal.
Bayern had bought Tel in 2022, when he was only 17, and Bayern naturally wanted to keep him. And Tel wanted to prove himself at Bayern (still then).
This is a total non-issue for me.

When we were CL runners up that was the time to push on and get momentum. Instead we did feck all. And now here we are.
None of them were high profile signings bar maybe Romero, Porro and Madisson. Romero joined a while back. Could we convince a player of his calibre right now? I doubt it.Yeah, VDV, Romero, Porro, Maddison, Bergvall, Gray, Vicario, Kinsky, Kulusevski - none of them wanted to join....
ummmm wait.
He was linked with us 18 months ago as part of the Kane deal.So come on.....who had heard of this Tel fellow before this week?
