Transfers January Transfer Thread 24/25

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Love transfer threads.

SPEND SOME MONEY!
'Offer £50m for someone...'
IT WON'T HAPPEN!
'Bid accepted...'
WHY WOULD HE PICK US?!
'Man Utd are interested...'
WHY WOULD HE WANNA GO THERE?!
'Man Utd approach...'
DIDN'T WANT HIM ANYWAY.

SPEND SOME MONEY! Etc, etc

I still get the feeling United don't know what they are doing and are just making it up as they go along. Was only last season they spent 72M on Rasmus Hojlund who is still only 21 and now they want to sign a 19 year old to replace him.

I get why Tel might not want to come to us but I'd rate us a better move than Man United.I thought we'd lose out to Chelsea or Woolwich. Losing out to United won't hurt as much plus he's much more likely to flop now - could easily envisage another Sancho/Antony situation where he'll be frozen out next season.

We’ve heard nothing credible to say that he really does want UTD.

All we really know is that he’s turned down moves to leave Bayern plenty of times and clearly wanted to stay. He’s most likely just making a final decision about a permanent move.

The rest is just his agent doing what agents do in the media. These journalists get paid by clubs and agents to create the best market conditions for their player. Everything else is just noise and because fans are emotionally compromised by club passions, they get trapped into the engagement farming.

Nope, just frustrating that the player is taking so long to decide to come here which has us all thinking he doesn't want to come.

Nearly 24 hours after we agreed a deal with Bayern, Tel still isn't sure he wants to join us. Meanwhile United seem to be pushing really hard to get him on loan. Sounds like Bayern would prefer to sell to us on a perm.

24 hours ISN'T a long time....

.......FFS, do none of you have ANY real world work-place experience?

That's how negotiations work mate, you win some you lose some.

We won Bergval and Dragusin in a bidding war, we lost RKM and seemingly Tel - shit happewant players who want too be here. Neither of these two wanted too be here - what are we even doing
We want players who want too be here. Neither of those two fancy us. We wasted most of the moth chasing RKM. Trying to convince players who think they are too good for you club is an idiotic approach to transfers.
