The club are so scared of the idea of having 2 top goalkeepers when Vicario comes back and having one of them sit on the bench every week. So they'd rather just buy a cheap upgrade on Forster rather than trying to upgrade on vicario.

Sums up the club in every way and is pure evidence on why we'll never compete under this ownership. The idea of having Vicario on the bench frightens them more then having to play Forster/Johnstone every week.

Well in addition to however he has connections, he's a Spurs supporter too. A lot of moods around here have definitely declined lately.

Most of his rants have been about Levy slashing salary and not completing deals for proven players like Neto or Eze in the summer.

Now Olmo has to pick between not playing for 6 months. Or leaving as a free agent. And if he leaves as a free agent. Barca still has to pay his salary through his contract length (2030).

It's worse than that. They could only register him in the summer due to an injury to Christenson meaning they could allocate his wages. Without him being injured they couldn't even register him in September
