Amazing what a bit of noise and making the chairman uncomfortable can do.
Woolwich had Odegaard on a dry loan before buying him didn't they? It's not unimaginable that we may go for him in the summer if we make a good impression on him (and vice versa).
Not as miserable as Rashford's painful effort to smile when signing for Villa.
I thought the trolls has picked one where he was chewing something, but it's actually the same 'smile' on all their posts of it.

Reminds me of when Lennon was over the moon to sign for Everton.

I'm sure our PR team will fluff it all up to make it sound good for us.Sky pitching it as a U-turn.. It's not a U-turn. It's a player that didn't want to leave Bayern permanently, as would've been the case with the previous structuring of the deal.. But he's happy to come and play for a few months..
It also turns out this banter journalism of "Tel reject Spurs cause they're shit lol", was just them typically misunderstanding the situation. The obvious fact is that the player always wanted to be at Bayern long term and has said as much.
Can’t see us developing him in 4 months so he’s worth more than £50mil
Probably more to do with going back and putting more on the table.
If he comes off the bench and smashes two in against Liverpool we won't care.I’m not at all. But a dry loan means you risk developing a player and then sending him back to Bayern to make loads of money on selling him.
It’s the other way about. Bayern did want to sell him hence the option to buy being apparently agreed last week. Tel didn’t fancy leaving permanently then changed his mind on moving. They’ve now accepted a straight loan no option to buy which suits Tel.

How people deal with the pain of signing for
