Long term Spence could be a fantastic RCB alongside VDV. Recovery pooace of that duo woudl be frightening. Spence is better on the ball than Dragusin or Davies, and is also very good in the air.

Porro is a wingback. As are Udogie and Spence.

Maybe it’s not a gigantic difference but it’s being amplified by a system that consistently leaves defenders on an island

I’m not calling for Porro to play wing. Think that would be stupid.

Hmm, not sure about Udogie - never seen him cross a ball consistently - does he have a single assist from crossing does he ever cross the ball in the air?

Udogie plays wingback in the same way that Spence does. Both cut inside and make runs into the box while the winger stays more outside.

Porro is the more traditional overlap and cross wingback.

Anyone else thinking Paratici would have had more deals lined up by now?
It's a shame we can't have both of them working to different ends; Lange for the future and Paratici for the now. I can't help but think that the former's getting it in the neck a bit for what is likely a board choice to go for youth on the cheap and hope their worth grows. Bergvall, Gray, Kinsky ... it's not a bad haul at all for the future. They all look very promising.

Good Morning Wow GIF by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Kinsky (21)
Spence (24) Vuskovic (17) Van De Ven (23) Udogie (22)
Sarr (22) Gray (18) Bergvall (18)
Moore (17) Tel (19) Odobert (20)

Yang (18), Philips (19), Lankshear (19), Olusesi (17), Dorrington (19)

It ain't subtle what the plan is here.

I’ve given him shit for sabotage of this window.

But nobody rational can look at how he usually does transfers and then see these very public failures for players that don’t want to come, and reach the conclusion that the same man is running this window,

This smacks of Levy and Paratici.

i'll repeat

It smacks of us being extremley desperate because we didnt really have a january plan apart from Kinsky and because our position is so shit we've had to do things differently.
